Finance Committee
To provide fiscal guidance to the leadership and membership regarding the chapter's finances. This includes: (1) Facilitating the development of our annual budget and periodic forecast updates,
(2) Ensuring proper fiscal policies are in place and executed, and (3) Preparing the chapters
periodic and year-end reports.

Economic Development Committee
To the eradicate financial illiteracy through the development of well defined systems that engage,
educate, and empower members of our community to maximize resources that will propel them
toward their financial goals and objectives.

Education Committee
To serve as a positive influence for our community's youth in their educational development. We
pledge to create and maintain a supportive infrastructure which fosters learning, embraces
classroom achievement, expects progress towards graduation, and celebrates post-graduate
success.

Health and Wellness
To promote healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices for the Greater Kansas City community by
developing and managing relationships with other non-profit organizations, agencies and
community centers supported by the 100 Black Men of Greater Kansas City.

Membership Committee
To strategically recruit and retain membership that is committed to the goals and philosophies of
the 100 Black Men of Greater Kansas City. We also work to foster relationships within the
membership by implementing social activities that nurture brotherhood.

Communications/Public Relations/Marketing Committee
To disseminate information pertaining to The 100 Black Men of Greater Kansas City initiatives, i.e.
“Four for the Future” and to facilitate further development of our local brand. We will achieve this
by 1) managing all Communications/PR/Marketing both internal and external; 2) working
congruently with the other 100 committees in regards to events; and 3) managing media contacts,
news letter, website development and internet relationships.

Program Development Committee
To positively enhance the educational and economic empowerment of young African American
males in the Greater KC area by encouraging and supporting the members of the 100 Black Men
of Greater Kansas City.
